Compliance-ready delivery for a national Hospital Information System programme

The challenge

A national Hospital Information System implementation needed every sub-contractor to show, requirement by requirement, that it could deliver against the programme's business requirements. It all had to sit within Saudi Arabia's data-protection and cybersecurity rules. A general capability statement wasn't going to be enough.

What we did

We worked through the programme's business requirements section by section and built a structured compliance response for each one, showing how and where we'd meet it. Alongside that, we mapped our delivery approach to the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and the National Cybersecurity Authority's (NCA) expectations.

We also wrote up the commercial and delivery risks we could see, such as scope reassignment, resource replacement and the cash-flow gap that quarterly invoicing creates for a sub-contractor. That way the prime contractor could plan for them early rather than discover them mid-project.

The result

  • A complete compliance response with every business-requirement section rated fully compliant (C1), and a risk register the prime contractor could act on.
