The challenge
The programme ran several workstreams at once, from hospital information systems to health information management and public health. Its PMO framework documents had grown over time, ownership wasn't always clear, and leadership needed one plan that showed how the workstreams fit together.
What we did
We ran a phased review of the PMO framework, gave every document a named owner and set a schedule so the reviews actually happened. We then built an integrated 12-month plan across five workstreams, with one summary view for leadership and a detailed view for each workstream. The plan stays editable, so the programme team can maintain it without us.
The result
- A reviewed PMO framework with clear document ownership, and an integrated plan that leadership and workstream leads can work from.
